The next School Advisory Council meeting is Monday, January 10th at 2:35 pm at the school with a Zoom option. The meeting is open to interested adult attendees; the November minutes are available on the school website. For more information, please contact SACWJMS@gmail.com.

Illustration of the letters MYVH inside a speech bubbleBetween January 10 and February 11, our students will take the secondary level Make Your Voice Heard (MYVH) survey. The voluntary, confidential survey will take 30 – 45 minutes. Please see our family letter and the Annual District Surveys page for additional information. Families that do not want their student to participate may contact the main office.

As you may have read in the district’s Community Update, EnrollJeffco Round 1 enrollment will open January 10 and run through January 28, 2022. All applications received before the close of Round 1 (January 28) will be included in the lottery process for the 2022-2023 school year. Please note that the time at which an application is submitted does not affect the priority for enrollment.

There will be no school on Monday, January 17 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 18.

Parent-teacher conferences will take place on Thursday, January 20. The format has not yet been set as in-person or virtual. Additional information will be communicated to families as it becomes available.

Families may provide proof of vaccination to the health room for students that have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. (Fully vaccinated means two weeks after the second dose in a two-dose series.) Students that are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will not be considered a close contact and therefore not need to be quarantined in the event of an exposure at school.
