End of Year Information - last day schedules and more

Lost and Found

Please check the lost and found, located across from the cafeteria entrance, to check for your lost items. All unclaimed items will be sorted and either discarded or donated to charity after Friday, May 17th.

Locker Clean-Out

Student lockers must be cleaned out by Wednesday, May 22nd. This is usually done during Advise.

PE lockers are tentatively scheduled for cleanout on Friday, May 17th and/or Monday, May 20th.

Last Day Schedules

The last day for all grades is Thursday, May 23 with an early release at 11:50 am. The schedule is forthcoming.

Medication Pick-Up

All medication in the school's health room needs to be picked up and signed out by an adult family member. Medications need to be picked up on or before Thursday, May 23rd no later than 3:30 pm. Unclaimed medication will be disposed of on May 24th.

Yearbooks

Students that have purchased yearbooks will receive them on May 23rd; a list of students that have purchased yearbooks is posted in the commons. A limited number of yearbooks will be available for purchase on a first come, first serve basis.

Advise teachers are reviewing basic signing manners with our students:

  • People will remember you by what you write in their yearbook. Make sure that what you sign is school appropriate.

  • Be kind. If you don’t have something nice to say, just sign your name or add a statement like “enjoy your summer.”

  • Respect others and their property. If you ruin another person’s yearbook, you will need to pay for it. The cost is $35.

Eighth Grade Continuation

Recommended attire for our eighth grade students at the Continuation ceremony and party is dress pants, nice jeans (without holes nor damaged bottom hem), skirts, or dresses and a buttoned, collared shirt or blouse. Tops must have at least one shoulder (or two straps) and must cover entire torso. Jackets and ties are optional. No shorts.

The ceremony begins at 5:15 in the gymnasium. Following the ceremony, families will exit the north side of the gym (taking photos outside is encouraged) and students will re-enter the building through the doors by the cafeteria.

A signed permission slip is required for students to attend the celebration. It may be returned to their Advise teacher or brought with them to the event.

As of May 15, there are still Continuation volunteer opportunities available for interested families to sign up for, including donation opportunities of food, ice, or funds, and volunteer opportunities for decoration and setup before the party, chaperoning and general help during the party, and clean-up help afterward.
