The honor roll assembly for seventh grade students that earned a 3.5 - 4.0 GPA during first trimester will take place on Thursday, November 29th at 7:40 am.

Hat Day on Friday, November 30

Donate a dollar for the Grub Club food drive this Friday, November 30th and enjoy wearing a hat all day at school! The funds raised will go toward purchasing items for the winter food drive for Grub Club, a program of The Action Center that provides boxes of food items and toiletries to schools for over 300 homeless and emancipated Jeffco students.

Lost and Found Jewelry

While bagging up the Lost & Found items, some jewelry was found in a coat pocket. If you are missing some rings, please contact the main office. You will need to describe the rings in detail to our school resource officer.

Interact

Interact will be meeting Thursday, November 29th after school, 2:30 to 3:30 pm in the library.

Yearbook wants your sports photos!

If you would like photos of your athletic activities considered for inclusion in this year’s yearbook, please share them with Mrs. Kavanaugh by November 29! You may send action shots or team photos by email to Molly.Kavanaugh@jeffco.k12.co.us or leave prints, discs, or thumb drives in her teacher mailbox in the main office. Please include the names of all athletes in the photograph and the team name. For more information see your friendly neighborhood Yearbook staff.

PTA News

Thank you to PTA for providing goodie bags for our honor roll students!

The Helping Hands Gift Drive helps meet the needs of families in our mountain community and makes the lessons on compassion and empathy that our students has been focusing on in Advise classes even more meaningful. Students and family members may take a mitten from the snowman in the school lobby. Each mitten has a gifting suggestion for a specific, anonymous student or community member in need. Make your selection and provide a new, unwrapped gift now through December 18th.

The School Store Holiday Shop will be open December 19, 20, and 21 during lunches. The Holiday Shop provides an opportunity for the students to buy gifts for their friends & family. All items are priced at $5 or less.

If you are interested in helping to plan the 8th Grade Continuation celebration in May, please email Aimee at aimeepless@hotmail.com. Subcommittee meetings will be happening soon to organize this important milestone event!

Our next PTA meeting is Thursday, January 17th at 2:30 pm in the library. There's no pressure to volunteer, just come and check out what's going on.

Save the date for the Fun Run Fundraiser on Friday, February 1st! More information will be released before winter break.

Please feel free to reach out to or follow the West Jeff Middle PTA via e-mail, the PTA website, the PTA Facebook page, or join online.
