Community Calendar

Families and community members are welcome to share information about local youth-friendly activities and organizations (e.g. sports activities or other extracurricular activities) with principal's secretary Julie Barrett for possible inclusion on this page.


  • third Saturday of every month: VFW Post 12009 Monthly Breakfast at Beaver Ranch, Conifer Community Park - all you can eat homemade breakfast served from 7:30 to 11:30 to benefit services for our area veterans

  • early February: Mind Blown Trivia Night, a fundraising event for Conifer High School PTA

  • last Saturday in February: 285 Winterfest, a free festival featuring a snow tubing competition, snowman carving competition, and a family movie at Stage Door Theatre

  • mid-March: Conifer Rotary St. Patrick's Day Party, a dinner event with live music and a silent auction (Conifer Rotary sponsors our Interact Club)

  • late April: Mountain Area Home and Garden Show, which benefits community organizations through grants disbursed by the Evergreen and Conifer Rotary Foundations

  • early June: Run the Ranch 5K, which benefits the Interact club at Conifer High School

  • last weekend in July: Elevation Celebration, a free festival with music, vendors, food, games, and more; it includes the the Elevation Run/Walk, which benefits the Conifer Lobos Unified Boosters and Conifer Community Trails

  • late September: Conifer OctoBEERfest, which benefits Conifer High School DECA 

  • early November: Conifer Newcomers and Neighbors Holiday Boutique, which benefits community organizations through grants

  • first weekend in December: Christmas in Conifer parade and festivities

After-School Programs

DEC Tech - Colorado School of Mines offers four-week long programs in STEM topics; Discover Tech for girls in grades 3-6, and Explore Tech for 7th and 8th grade girls.



StageDoor - StageDoor's Junior Company (6th-8th grade) will have productions of Disney's High School Musical JR., Page to Stage, and James and the Giant Peach JR. in the 2018–19 season.

The Venue - Venue's Middle School Company will be putting on Anything Goes and a show TBA in the 2018–19 season.

  • Troop 238 - Thursdays in Bailey

  • Troop 400 - Mondays in Conifer

  • Troop 737 - Mondays in Evergreen (73 above the s-curves)

  • Troop 888 - Tuesdays in Evergreen (Meadow Drive)

  • Troop 1776 - Wednesdays in Evergreen (Buffalo Park Road)

Girl Scouts

Cadettes are the Girl Scout program level for girls in 6th through 8th grade. Troops are selected from the Opportunity Catalog after registering a girl in the program; please contact Girl Scouts of Colorado at 877-404-5708, e-mail, or use their web contact form to obtain more information.


Jefferson County 4-H groups in the Conifer area include the Pleasant Park Shooting Stars and Traildusters.
