Community Calendar

Families and community members are welcome to share information about local youth-friendly activities and organizations (e.g. sports activities or other extracurricular activities) with principal's secretary Julie Barrett for possible inclusion on this page.

Events

  • Third Saturday of every month: VFW Post 12009 Monthly Breakfast at Beaver Ranch, Conifer Community Park - all you can eat homemade breakfast served from 7:30 to 11:30 to benefit services for our area veterans

  • December 2: Christmas in Conifer parade and festivities

After-School Programs

DEC Tech - Colorado School of Mines offers four-week long programs in STEM topics; Discover Tech for girls in grades 3-6, and Explore Tech for 7th and 8th grade girls.

Sports

Theatre

StageDoor - StageDoor's Junior Company (6th-8th grade) will have productions of Madagscar: A Musical Adventure JR., Page to Stage, and Once Upon A Mattress in the 2017–18 season.

The Venue - Venue's Middle School Company will be putting on Singin' in the Rain JR. in the 2017–18 season.

Troops that meet in the mountain area for boys 11 – 17:

  • Troop 238 - Thursdays in Bailey

  • Troop 400 - Mondays in Conifer

  • Troop 737 - Mondays in Evergreen (73 above the s-curves)

  • Troop 888 - Tuesdays in Evergreen (Meadow Drive)

  • Troop 1776 - Wednesdays in Evergreen (Buffalo Park Road)

Girl Scouts

Cadettes are the Girl Scout program level for girls in 6th through 8th grade. Troops are selected from the Opportunity Catalog after registering a girl in the program; please contact Girl Scouts of Colorado at 877-404-5708, e-mail inquiry@gscolorado.org, or use their web contact form to obtain more information.

4-H

Jefferson County 4-H groups in the Conifer area include the Pleasant Park Shooting Stars and Traildusters.
